Valentina Sabina Ruskowski, 94, of Hinsdale, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Born on February 14, 1932, in Ashuelot, NH, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Cecelia (Wozniak) Ruskowski.

Valentina grew up in Ashuelot and graduated from Thayer High School in 1950. She had a very successful career with Peerless Insurance, having spent many years in various departments and then as the secretary for the company's president before her retirement. Valentina was a devote catholic and faithfully attended St. Stanislaus Church.

She loved spending time with family and friends; especially with her twin sister Vangie, where they traveled to Poland, England, France, Northwest Canada and frequented many bus tours throughout the U.S. During a trip out west, she rode a donkey down the Grand Canyon. She enjoyed cross-country skiing, polka dancing in Greenfield, MA with her sisters, and anything chocolate or lemon made by her sister "Bunny" Bernice. She was an advocate for the Cheshire Humane Society, and avid animal lover.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings Vangie Ruskowki, Raymond Ruskowski, Bernice Walendzik, Kenneth Ruskowski, and Irene Macko.

Services will be held privately for the family.
