Susan Marie Sachetti

Susan Marie Sachetti, 55, a resident of Swanzey, passed away peacefully while resting on Saturday, December 6, 2025, after a strong battle against early onset Alzheimer’s disease.
Born April 21, 1970, in Wiesbaden, Germany, to the late Virginia (Malone) Fontaine and Donald Ernest Sachetti. She was educated locally attending local schools. Susan continued her education briefly at Keene State College.
She was a hard worker and enjoyed her time making many friends at some of the places she worked for. Susan spent many years working for Keene State College in the Dining Hall along with Eurest and briefly at Best Western with her cleaning girls.
Susan lived life with a free spirit and a wild heart. Though she spent time in many places, her roots were firmly planted in Connecticut and New Hampshire, where her family remained her greatest constant. Susan had a true gift for cooking and baking, and she found joy in sharing her creations with those she loved. She loved music and a good time, whether she was dancing, at concerts or enjoying a lively family gathering. Above all, one of her happiest moments in life was becoming a Grammy, a role she cherished deeply.
Ms. Sachetti leaves behind her two children, her daughter Alicia Morrison ( son in-law Justin Fish) and her son, Sam Malone both of Swanzey, her sister Julie Sachetti (Brother in-law, Rick Germana), her brothers Donald Sachetti, Robert Sachetti (her sister in-law Mel Sachetti) and Mark Fontaine (sister in-law Laura Fontaine) and her sister in-law Kim Fontaine, as well as her 2 grandchildren Mia and Elias, an array of nieces and nephews, good friends such as, Scott and Cassie, and others she deeply cared for. She was pre-deceased by her parents, stepfather Ruck Fontaine, and her brother Brian Fontaine.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel, 44 Maple Ave. Keene, NH. 03431.
