Sondra J. (Rhoades) Blake, 77, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2026 after a brief period of declining health.

Sondra exchanged vows with the love of her life Donald F. Blake with a candlelight service. She was born in Keene NH on March 8, 1949. Sondra worked at Sims Portex for more than a decade where she built lasting friendships.

Before settling into her career, she traveled the United States proudly visiting all 50 states. She embraced every moment with loved ones and found joy in hosting and attending family gatherings, especially holidays. She enjoyed crafting, taking leisurely joy rides in the convertible taking in the scenery. She was an enthusiastic sports fan, faithfully cheering on the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

Sondra will be dearly missed by all her loved ones.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Donald F. Blake of North Swanzey, NH her brother Frank Rhoades of Swanzey NH and her sister Beverly Harper of Alstead NH. In addition to many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. Sondra asked that you take a moment to cherish your loved ones and remember her with a smile

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Monday, October 26, 2026, at the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel, 44 Maple Ave. Keene, NH. 03431.
