Shirley Mae Hull

Shirley Mae (Fifield) Hull, 71, a resident of Gilsum passed away peacefully and quietly on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, with the love of family near at the Jack Byrne Center in Lebanon.
She was born a daughter to the late Julia Powell (Battles) and George Fifield on March 2, 1954, in Hanover. Shirley was educated locally and graduated from Keene High School, class of 1972.

On February 17, 2006, Shirley exchanged vows with Michael Hull. They had a simple ceremony in Gilsum.

She enjoyed her time working at Smiths Medical as their customs specialist for 25+ years until she retired in 2019.

Shirley found joy in life’s simple pleasures- spending time with her beloved pets, cooking meals that brought everyone together, and celebrating holidays that were always made extra special by her thoughtful touch. She loved attending antique car shows and never passed up the chance to go for a peaceful car ride, especially if it led her toward the beach. The ocean was her happy place, a source of comfort and calm. She also had a deep appreciation for flowers. Her warmth, passion, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Hull is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Hull of Gilsum, her son, Scott Koski of Brattlboro, VT. and her daughter, Ranae Giorando and husband, Mark of Keene. She is also survived by her brother, Dale Fifield and his wife, Carol of Clayton, NC. And her granddaughter, Katelyn Koski. Along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel. 44 Maple Ave. Keene, Nh. 03431. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the Monadnock Humane Society, 101 W. Swanzey Rd. Swanzey, Nh. 03446.
