Ronald David Allain, 75, of Keene, passed away at home on Monday, December 15, 2025, while surrounded by his family. Born in New Bedford, MA, on July 3, 1950, he was the son of the late David and Doris (Lavoie) Allain.

Ronald honorably served his country in the United States Army as Private First Class and earned the Bronze Star Medal and the Army Commendation medal for his service in Vietnam. For over 30 years, he was employed at New Hampshire Ball Bearing where he held many different roles until his retirement.

An outdoor enthusiast, he loved fishing with his son David in Pittsburg, NH and hunting in Troy, NH with his best friend Sonny Grimshaw, and where he spent time with Sonny's sons Eric and Timmy. He was a member of Buzzy Bowers in Troy, where he made the Big Buck Club with his 8pt buck. In his free time, he loved driving his Jeep which was his world.

He is survived by his son David Allain and wife Sandy; sister Dorren Wotton and husband Russell; sister-in-law Maureen Allain; grandchildren Alanna and boyfriend Josh, Taylor and husband Dylan, Lauren and boyfriend Cole, Kaitlyn and fiancé Tristan, Ashlyn, Briana and girlfriend Ester, Jared and fiancé Alicia, Riley; great-grandchildren Camden, Peyton, Joshua, Jackson, Oliver, Henry, Raelyn, Mila, and Cohen. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his son Daniel Allain and brother Bernard Allain.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:30AM on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Monadnock View Cemetery, 499 Park Ave, Keene, NH 03431.
