Robert Douglas Couchon, 78, a resident of Richmond passed away peacefully and quietly on Friday, February 13, 2026, with his partner by his side at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene.

Born on September 10, 1947, in Worcester Massachusetts, Robert was the son of the late Edna E. (Frost) and Alfred W. Couchon. He was educated locally and graduated from Worcester High School, class of 1965.

Robert had a deep love for music and community. He served as a church organist and Choir member. He played funeral services at Saint Bernard Catholic Church in Keene and was involved with several churches including Saint Ann's Catholic Church in Leominster, Saint Michael's Catholic Church in Brattleboro, and the First Congregational Church in Temple. He was also a collector of American glass from the 1850's to the 1950's, with a special appreciation for Victorian and Depression-era glass.

Mr. Couchon is survived by his devoted partner, David W. Worth of Richmond. Along with many extended family and friends. Robert was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Alan Couchon.

Calling hours will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, March 6, 2026, in the Cheshire Family Funeral Chapel, 44 Maple Ave. Keene, NH. 03431. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Saint Bernard Catholic Church, 185 Main St. Keene, NH. 03431. A private burial will take place at a later time.
