Marlene J. Hunt

Marlene J. (Amadon) Hunt, 89, a lifelong resident of Keene and Swanzey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 29, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family at Alpine Healthcare in Keene. She was born on July 14, 1934, to the late Flora (Schulz) and Fred Amadon in Keene. She was educated locally at Keene High School class of 1952. On January 1, 1955, Marlene exchanged vows with the love of her life, Robert Hunt Jr. They had a simple service at the 1st Congregational Church in Keene with their family and friends celebrating them. They were happily married for 49 years until Robert passed away on January 29, 2004. Marlene enjoyed her time working for the Telephone Co in Keene for a short period of time, Tilden’s in Keene for 7 years MPB Timken Super Precision as a telephone operator and in the white room for 25 years until she retired in 2000.
