LEWIS A HODGMAN, 80, a longtime resident of Winchester, NH and Lynchburg, VA for the past 7 years, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on August 22, 2024 .
He was born April 15, 1944 to the late Dorothy (Putnam) and late Burche Hodgman in Keene, NH. He was educated locally at Thayer High School and graduated with the class of 1963.
On December 16, 1966 Lewis exchanged vows with the love of his life, Gayle A (Baronoski). They had a simple service with family and friends. They were married 58 years.
Lewis worked at A.C Lawrence Leather, the grocery business, and retired after 21 years at Smith Medical in Keene, NH. After retirement he worked for the Winchester School performing janitorial services. He took great pride in his work.
Lewis was a member of the First Baptist Church in Northfield, Mass. He was an avid Red Sox fan who also enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing (often joking that WMUR would be flying in to interview the "professionals"), softball, reading western books by Louis...
