Lawrence "Larry" G. Goodale

Lawrence “Larry” G. Goodale, 77, a life-long resident of Swanzey died on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Cheshire Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Keene. He passed peacefully with the love of his family near after a brief period of declining health. Lawrence was born the son of the late Anna (Johnson) and Robert Goodale Sr. on November 10, 1939 in Swanzey. He was educated locally and graduated from Keene High School class of 1957. Larry was a patriotic individual. He enlisted in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. He completed his enlistment and was honorably discharged. On December 14, 1968 he exchanged vows with Gail A. Boyd. They were married in a simple service in West Swanzey with close family and friends in attendance. The Goodale’s have been married for almost forty-nine years. Larry worked for the State of New Hampshire. He was a Mechanical Foreman for the State Highway Department for thirty-two years before retiring in 1999. Larry loved to work with his hands.
