Laurie Romaneck

Laurie Ann (Hamilton) Romaneck, 61, a resident of Swanzey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2024, in the comfort of her own home. She was born on June 21, 1963, to the late Emma Elizabeth (Mercier) and John Harold Hamilton in Hartford CT. She graduated from Enfield High School with the class of 1981. Laurie exchanged vows with the love of her life, Charles F. Romaneck. They had a simple service with their family and friends celebrating them, they were married 42 years. Working as a elderly home caretaker with Comfort Keepers in Keene, Laurie took great pride in her work. She worked with them for 5 years. Laurie greatly enjoyed being a mother to her three children, and then later enjoyed being a grandmother once her children had children of their own. She also enjoyed gardening, especially giant sunflowers, blueberry picking with her grandkids, swimming, going to the beach and viewing the annual sandcastles.
