Judith “Judy” Evelyn (Blake-Duplissie) Guyette,82, a resident of Swanzey, passed away peacefully and quietly on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, with the love of family by her side after a brief period of declining health.

She was born a daughter of the late Virginia L. (Blake) and Norman Duplissie on August 24, 1943, in Springfield, MA. Judy was educated locally and graduated from Marlboro High School, class of 1961.

On August 17, 1963, Judith exchanged vows with the love of her life, Charles E. Guyette. They had a simple ceremony at Saint Bernard Catholic Church in Keene with family and friends celebrating them. They were happily married for 52 years until Charles passed away on October 11, 2015.

Judy enjoyed her time working for the Monadnock School System as one of their cooks for 25 years until she retired in 1992.

Along with working, Judy cherished the simple moments that brought her joy- playing cards, taking longs rides to enjoy the scenery, and spending time camping on Providence Lake, a place that held many of her happiest memories. She loved cooking and baking, always filling her home with comforting aromas and homemade treats. Some of her favorite evenings were spent sitting by the campfire, surrounded by laughter and peaceful sounds of nature. Above all, she adored her cats, who were constant companions and a great source of comfort. Her gentle spirit and the memories she created will forever be treasured.

Mrs. Guyette is survived by her children, Lisa Guyette and partner, Jeff Hurt of Swanzey, Charles S. Guyette and wife, Laura of Swanzey, her brothers, Gary Duplissie and wife, SueHae of Korea, and John Duplissie and wife, Gail of Swanzey. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Derek Hartwell, Jacob Hartwell, Stephanie Pratt, and Scott Pratt, and her great-grandchildren, Silas Hartwell, Samuel Hartwell, and Owen Castor. Judy was predeceased by her parents, her husband Charles Guyette, and her son, Roland N. Guyette who passed on June 25, 1991.
