Joan Phyllis Belanger

Joan Phyllis (Como) Belanger, 87, a longtime resident of Keene, NH, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025. Born on January 13, 1938, in Lynn, MA, Joan was the daughter of Blanche and Herbert Como. She graduated from Saugus (MA) High School and later became a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist. Joan was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished time spent with her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor that brought joy to those around her and formed lasting friendships throughout her life. A woman of faith, she was a parishioner at Saint Margaret Mary Church in Keene. She is survived by her daughter Judy Gagne and Judy’s husband Mark; her daughter-in-law Nancy Beaton, wife of the late Jeff Beaton; and her sister Jean Banks. Joan also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Gregory Gagne and his wife Amanda, Alyssa Mulcahy and her husband Nick, Andrew Gagne and his wife Kelsey, Meg Beaton, and Nick Gagne and his wife Savannah.
