Jane E Severance

Jane E. (Tole) Severance, 89, of Keene passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Born in Bellows Falls, VT on March 23. 1935, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Lucy (Rogers) Tole. Jane grew up in Vermont and graduated in 1953 from Battleboro Union High School. A talented and well-known seamstress, she had a successful career with many companies such as Norge Laundry, Target Cleaners, and Bicks Co. before she retired at 60. Her love for sewing allowed her to make many memorable gifts for her family such as quilts, pillows, rabbits and even toys. She was a parishioner of the Grace Christian Fellowship in Winchester and very involved with the craft groups at Keene Center where she lived. She loved to pick wildflowers for her home, eat as much ice cream as possible, scratch tickets, and chase white haired men. She is survived by her sons Robin G. Severance and Brian L.
