James Leonard Giglio Sr., 84, of Keene, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, while surrounded by his family. Born in Manchester, CT, on July 1, 1941, he was the son of the late Leonard and Grace (Stephens) Giglio.
 
 
 Jim grew up in Connecticut and moved to New Hampshire in the 70’s. He honorably served his country for 4 years in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne. With a love for antiquing, he had a lifelong career as an antique auctioneer and owned “Bear Mountain” which was a successful antique business for over 20 years.
 
 
 Jim was a creative, exceptional artist and craftsman that took pride in his adirondack furniture, plasma art, taxidermy, and most of all the art he made with his grandchildren. An avid hunter and hiker, Jim kept active by his daily visits to the YMCA and his black belt in Kung-fu. He was a loving, thoughtful, and kind man, who was whole heartedly dedicated to his family.
 
 
 He is survived by his loving partner Mary Jane Blake; children James Giglio Jr. and wife Michelle, Michael Giglio, Amanda Giglio and partner Charles Horton, Crystal Giglio, Kevin Southwell, Laurie Southwell and partner Richard Howard, Michael Southwell and wife Renee Pecor, Heidi Bourassa, and Seth Bourassa and wife Sue-Anne; brother Paul Giglio; 26 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Kathy Giglio, and twin grandsons James and Nathan.
 
 
 A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00PM to 4:00PM on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the East Swanzey Community House 18 Old Richmond Rd, Swanzey NH, 03446.
 
 
 In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jim may be offered to the NH Barry Conservation Camp which is dedicated to connecting youth to life outdoors at
