Jacob David Liebert

Jacob "Jack" David Liebert, 90, of Chesterfield, NH, passed away comfortably at home surrounded by his loving family on May 16, 2025. Born in the Bronx, NY to Moe and Johanna (Katz) Liebert, he graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School before earning degrees in History and Philosophy from New York University. He went on to pursue a PhD in Intellectual History at the University of Chicago, where he spent five years completing a dissertation on La Rivière's political theory. Jack's greatest talent was his remarkable ability to connect with people—a gift that served him in life and career. He began his lifelong journey in the financial markets on Wall Street in 1966 where he worked as a broker for several prestigious firms. Both the ticker tape and chance to build relationships formed the basis for the rest of his career in financial advising spanning almost 50 years, culminating in the founding of his own successful company, Liebert Investment Management, at the age of 71.
