Howard Thomas Jameson

Howard Thomas Jameson, 93, of Keene, passed away peacefully while resting on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, while under the care of Spring Village at Summerhill in Peterborough, NH. He was born to the late Marion A. (Thomas) and George H. Jameson, on December 14, 1930, in Manchester, VT. He was educated at Granville High School in Granville, New York. When he was 17 years old, Howard left school to join his older brother, Jimmy, and enlisted in the United States Army on July 22, 1948, requiring his mother’s signature due to his age. He served his country with honor and was awarded the Army of Occupation Medal (Japan), Korean Service Medal, W/3 Bronze Service Stars, Combat Infantry Badge, Presidential Unit Citation (ROK), and the United Nations Service Medal. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Sargent T1 on May 29, 1952.
