Eric Benjamin Donald

Eric Benjamin Donald, 66, of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, while at home. Born on July 18, 1958, in Willimantic, CT, he was the son of the late Alexander Mathison and Margaret (Souza) Donald. Eric grew up in Eastford, CT and graduated from Woodstock Academy in 1976. After high school, he enlisted immediately in the United States Marine Corp. and served in the intelligence division while stationed in Japan. While in the Marines, he earned the Good Conduct Medal and the Rifle Marksman Badge. Eric was proud to serve his country and after 4 years of service, he was honorably discharged. An avid sports fan who never missed a sports game, he played on bowling and hockey leagues during his younger adult years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially deep-sea fishing at the beach.
