Elizabeth M. (Jordan) Phelps, 91, a life-long resident of Keene, passed away peacefully and quietly on Thursday, December 18, 2025, while resting after a brief period of declining health at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene.
Elizabeth was born a daughter to the late Gladys (Peterson) and Milan M. Jordan on April 2, 1934, in Keene. She was happily residing at Applewood Nursing home where she enjoyed all of the staff and her room mate Janet for the last 7 years. She attended the local school system.
She was well known for her time working for RISE for baby and family program as a daycare provider for many years then became an "adopted grandmother" for 6 years until she retired in 2000.

Breakfast outings were her favorite ritual, often shared with family and friends. Above all, Elizabeth cherished being surrounded by those she loved, valuing time spent with family and friends more than anything else.
