Dorothy Roos

Dorothy Roos, 78, of Keene, NH, entered into rest on March 11, 2025 after a lengthy illness. Born on March 1, 1947 in Danbury, CT, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Fredericka "Freddie" Signor Roos. Dot attended Danbury elementary, middle, and high schools along with her brothers and sister. After graduation, she entered the field of bookkeeping. One of the pioneering mothers of her time, Dottie worked outside the home while raising her family; employed by Shine Pharmaceuticals for most of her career. She enjoyed dining at local, family-owned restaurants; shopping at tag sales and thrift stores; and soft rock music of that era, especially James Taylor. Upon relocating to Keene in 2008, Dot worked at WalMart for a short time as a cashier. After retirement, she enjoyed quiet activities and family visits; and she developed a love of the Hallmark Movie Channel.
