Dorothy H. (Pickering) Davis

Dorothy H. (Pickering) Davis, 96, of Swanzey and formerly of Keene, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Keene Center Genesis. She was born a daughter to the late Hattie E. (Porter) and Jesse D. Pickering on June 21, 1927 in Keene, NH. She was educated locally at Thayer High School class of 1945. On November 27, 1944, Dorothy exchanged vows with the love of her life Walter P. Davis in a simple service in Keene surrounded by the love of family and friends. Dorothy had worked at Cheshire County Savings Bank as a Teller and trainer for 10 years, retiring in 1988. She had also worked at Keene National Bank, Public Service of NH for 8 years in billing and bookkeeping. Dorothy had many passions in life but her number one passion was spending time with her family. She also loved to play her piano, and sing music and did so within a few weeks of her passing.
