Dorothy K. Ingram

Dorothy K. (Kennedy) Ingram, 94, a resident of Swanzey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene. She was born a daughter to the late Lucy (Henry) and Robert Kennedy on April 19, 1930, in Swanzey. On February 28, 1948, Dorothy exchanged vows with the love of her life, Linwood "Bill" Ingram. They had a simple service in Brattleboro, VT with family and friends celebrating them. They were happily married for 66 years until Linwood "Bill" passed away on April 12, 2014. Dorothy was a homemaker and raised her five children. She loved and took great pride in being a mom, and later, after her children had their own children, she loved being a "Mimi" to her grandchildren. She also loved to knit and sew, play cards, and travel. She had a great love for animals, flowers, and country music, and adored being able to attend the activities that her grandchildren enjoyed.
