Donald “Don” James Lambert, 71, a resident of North Swanzey, passed away peacefully and quietly on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, with the love of family by his side at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene. Born on January 20, 1954, in Rhode Island.
Don enjoyed his time working for Troy Mills for 15 plus years as a mechanic until he retired in 2002. Prior, Don worked on building pools from the ground up and did carpentry.
He has a deep love for the outdoors and spent much of his time hunting, fishing, and taking walks in nature. Above all, he was a devoted family man who cherished every moment with his loved ones.
Mr. Lambert is survived by his wife, Cynthia R. (Williams) Lambert of Troy, their children, Melanie Hobbs and husband, Chad of Troy, and Melissa Boyer and significant other, Gerald D. Callahan Jr.) of Fitzwilliam, and his sister, Kathy Mitchell of Florida. Don is also survived by his grandchildren, Naomi Boyer, Cameron Hobbs, Damon Lambert, and Braylee Boyer. Along with his longtime friend, Barbara Hammond, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his in-laws, Naomi and John Williams I, his sister Pauline Mitchell, and his grandson Jonathon J. Boyer.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date at Samuel E Paul Community Center at 61 South street, Troy NH 03465. lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to, American Cancer Society.
