David William Spiess

David William Spiess, 71, of Keene, passed peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Monday, July 29, 2024 at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene. He was born a son to Barbara (Brayman) Spiess and the late Donald Secord on March 7, 1953 in Keene. At the age of two, he was adopted by his late stepfather Emile Spiess and took his last name. He was educated locally at Keene High School, class of 1971. David was a hard worker and had a career as a courier and delivery driver for several companies. David was described as a loner and tended to keep to himself. He did, however, have a tendency to chat with every stranger that walked by him. He was also the Mr. Wilson to his nephew Carter’s Denis the Menace. David also loved to drive, he drove all over ME, NH and VT and knew every road that there was! He loved auto racing, cars and trucks, and was a pit crew member for auto races.
