Cleotis “Cleo” Lee Miller, 85, a resident of Westmoreland, passed away peacefully and quietly on Saturday, May 11, 2024, while at the Jack Byrnes Center in Lebanon.
He was born to the late Florence (Weldy) and John J. Miller on September 11,1938, in St. Joseph County, Indiana.
On June 10, 1961, Cleotis exchanged vows with the love of his life, Sally A. (Senecal) Miller. They had a simple service at the Brattleboro Church of Christ with family and friends celebrating them.
As a carpenter and craftsman, Cleo worked in construction both as a builder and as a superintendent of projects. Once retired Cleo established Hilltop Carpentry & Woodworking and spent his time doing small jobs until 2020. Cleo loved working in his shop making things including furniture for his grandchildren.
Cleo was a private pilot and loved to fly. He enjoyed building model planes and ultralights, as well as restoring antique planes. He was a longtime member of the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association), Cleo also enjoyed reading...
