Bernard William Moody

Bernard “Bernie” W. Moody, 70, of Westmoreland, passed away peacefully on Friday. March 14, 2025 after battling cancer since May 2023. Born on October 26, 1954, in Bellows Falls, VT, he was the son of Rita Westcott-Miner and the late Walter Moody. Bernie grew up in New Hampshire and graduated from Keene High School. After graduating, he became a roofer for Melanson for over 35 years and then worked at Monadnock Developmental Services as a home care provider and maintenance worker where he retired. He volunteered at the Special Olympics for over 30 years where he was a bocce and bowling coach. A do-it-yourself type of man, he could fix anything and everything, including building the house where he resided. He was an avid Nascar fan and spent many weekends at the races in Louden with his family. In addition, he also loved camping, fishing, and boating.
