Obituary

Ann H. Wilder, 81, of Fitzwilliam, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026. Born in Fitzwilliam, NH, on July 3, 1945, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Chase) Hanninen.

She grew up on the family farm, a lifelong resident of Fitzwilliam. Ann was a member of the first graduating class of Monadnock High School in 1963. Following graduation, she continued her education by taking college courses in the evening while beginning her career in finance. Ann enjoyed a long and successful career, working in the accounting department at Troy Mills for 35 years, followed by working as a commercial lending officer at TD Bank for over 25 years, before retiring. Ann cherished time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, and enjoyed the companionship of her pets. In her spare time, she found joy in tending to her gardens, putting puzzles together, playing games and exploring local yard sales.

She is survived by her partner 27 years Richard Dudas; children Liisa Hamelin and husband Wayne, John Wilder II and fiancée Jannette Fournier; brother Robert “Bob” Hanninen and wife Lindy; sister-in-law Brenda Hanninen; grandchildren Lacey and Abagayle Hamelin; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers John “Hank” and William “Bill” Hanninen.

A burial will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Pine Grove Cemetery, Royalston Rd, Fitzwilliam, NH.
