Alberto Sasoy Lagac

Alberto Sasoy Lagac, 88, of Swanzey, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025 while at home. Alberto was born on November 17, 1936 in the Philippines. Upon graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of 19 where he was stationed in Norfolk, VA. After 20 years in the Navy, he honorably retired as a proud Veteran. He spent time after the service as a cook in a few different restaurants in the Keene area, with Tempesta’s being the longest. He loved spending time outdoors fishing and hunting with close friends, cooking for family, and tending to his garden. He is survived by his daughter Eladia (Missi) Lagac and her children Meghan Zani, Elijah Alberto Bowers, and Kylie McNeill; step-daughter Lorena Hoffman and her children Lani Bixby, Dustin Hoffman, and Stephanie Hoffman; and his great- grandchildren Damien Ellis, Skyla Ellis, Andrea Bixby, Katie Fecteau, and Shawn Bixby.
