Alan G. Gibson, 67, of Troy, NH, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2024. He was born on March 3, 1957, son of the late James Glover and Mary Lee (McKean) Gibson.
Al was a proud Marine Veteran, first and foremost. He was an avid motorcyclist, having traveled across the country on his KZ1000 following his Honorable Discharge from the Marines to NH where he would reside for the rest of his life, beginning in Peterborough, then Antrim, and finally Troy. In his later years he began racing motorcycles on many tracks, having grown tired of riding on the streets. He worked on his own motorcycles and was adept at taking them apart and putting them back together. He enjoyed many hikes up Mount Monadnock with his friends, almost every weekend for many years. He was an accomplished weightlifter and won many competitions. He had an affinity for water skiing as well, and spent many days on the water with his close friends. He was often seen playing golf at Bretwood Golf Course in Keene after work.
