Phyllis May Lane, 80, of West Swanzey, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Friday, May 30, 2025. Born in Keene, NH on October 16, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Leon Alexander Jr. and Alice (Patterson) Alexander.
Phyllis was a lifelong resident of Winchester and West Swanzey, and a member of the West Swanzey Drum and Bugle Corp. On July 2, 1960, she married the love of her life and shared 65 loving years together. She prided herself on being an immaculate housekeeper and always enjoyed the people she worked for.
She loved her “Wednesdays with Memere” spent with LB and Cam, vacations with Howard but always looked forward to coming home, and telling the stories of her early years living on a farm to her family. She loved all animals, with her latest dog Dale who was always by her side, and a good dance because she could never turn down Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock n’ Roll”.
